The entire 2014-2015 Program Calendar for Pack 422 will be announced soon.

Pack 422 serves the following schools, and their surrounding areas:

  • Blue Bell Elementary School
  • Gwynedd-Mercy Academy
  • Shady Grove Elementary School
  • Germantown Academy
We welcome boys in first through fifth grades in our area - from any school, or homeschooling.
For more information about scouting in general, visit   Boy Scouts of America

For more information about our pack - please email us at bsacubs422@gmail.com

Our pack teaches life skills and reinforces the basics of scouting - building character, training scouts in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and developing personal fitness.  We do this through coordinated events with our pack and dens - and through independent learning as the scouts mature and graduate to Boy Scouts.

Our collective assembly of Cub Scouts is called our PACK. Packs meet once per month for major events and recognition of scouting accomplishments.

Each pack consists of DENS - which are a smaller group of scouts from a specific school year (usually 6 to 12 boys).
Packs meet 1+ times per month to work on tasks as a team.

These are the levels in Cub Scouts
  • Bobcat / Tiger = 1st grade
  • Wolf = 2nd grade
  • Bear = 3rd grade
  • Webelos 1 = 4th grade
  • Webelos 2 = 5th grade

During their second year in Webelos boys become eligible to join Boy Scouts, which continues through age 18.
